Where felling is not an option, we at TreeSmiths Ltd apply the necessary techniques to dismantle the tree in manageable sections without causing damage to property or surrounding areas. Where there is risk of damage to property or the surrounding environment, TreeSmiths Ltd use lowering ropes and lowering techniques to bring down large and heavy sections in a controlled and safe manner.
TreeSmiths Ltd invests substantially in state of the art equipment ensuring safe and efficient tree removal is delivered to our clients. We have a large fleet of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) which assist us heavily on tree removal projects.
Our MEWP’s range from Hilux’s with a working height of 13 metres, Unimog’s with a working height of 14 metres up to a 23 metre insulated spider MEWP - the first in the UK, enabling us to work at 23 metres adjacent to overhead power lines without the need for a power outage.
We also use large scale forestry equipment to aid us with tree removal and dismantling, again safely and efficiently, delivering the project for our client in a cost effective manner.
